Blaise Kilgallen

Blaise is a-dyed-in-the-wool New Jerseyite. Born and raised there, she says she will probably die there. She resides in semi-rural Sussex County, the northwest area of the “Garden State,” on 3-1/2 acres of untamed yard.

Blaise earned a B.S. in Fine Art Education from a N.J. State College, but taught only one year before heading into New York to seek employment in the advertising field. She worked at various positions with different ad agencies during a 10 year period. After being widowed, she earned her Real Estate Broker’s License and listed and sold houses and land in New Jersey for almost a decade.

That was when she began to write romantic fiction. Her novels were soon published and now she is published in both electronic formats and print--by a list of e-publishers. As the market changed and developed, most of her novels came to be classified as “steamy romances” rather than “sweet stories.”

Blaise has had more than a dozen romance novels published during the last decade. She continues to write historical and contemporary novels daily. She is also a prolific professional artist in several venues. Currently she paints and sells watercolors and collages, and creates romance covers for other e-publishers (royalties) and individual authors for a fee.

The ranch’s stables are torched after Kate is sexually attacked by Starrett. Cady returns, but will the pair find their way back to each other?

Harassed by an employer, Suzanne Thibold picks up a pre-read paperback to de-stress and is whisked to 1870 Dry Wells, Texas, inhabited by rank cowboys and townfolks. She almost adjusts to the conditions when she learns Oscar Needham bought her as a Mail Order Bride.

A bronco-buster hired by the S-bar-Ranch, Cady Dillon comforts Suzanne after she is frightened by a shooting fracas below her hotel room. A burst of adrenaline had them making love. Cady knows she’s too good for him. He deserts her and heads for the Californian gold fields.

Suzanne awakens in her hotel room, but in the year 2009, still in Dry Wells. She is hired by the town’s current banker. Inhabitants she meets seem very familiar. When she gets a flat tire in a mall, Suzanne’s former lover’s great-grandson fixes it for her. They agree to meet at Dry Wells Summer Rodeo. Cady (William) Dillon stands Suzanne up, but then appears at her condo after midnight to explain why. Will she forgive him? What do you think?

About Jacqueline Paige:

Jacqueline Paige lives in Ontario in a small town that’s part of the popular Georgian Triangle area.  No one has ever heard of Stayner, so she usually tells people she lives “near Collingwood” and no, she doesn’t ski at Blue Mountain or at all, in fact she’s not even fond of snow.

She began her writing career in 2006 and since her first published works in 2009 she hasn’t stopped.  Jacqueline describes her writing as “all things paranormal”, which she has proven is her niche with stories of witches, ghosts, physics and shifters now on the shelves.

When Jacqueline isn’t working at her ‘reality job’ or lost in her writing she spends time with her five children, most of whom are finally able to look after her instead of the other way around.  Together they do random road trips, that usually end up with them lost,  shopping trips where they push every button in the toy aisle, hiking when there’s enough time to escape and bizarre things like creating new daring recipes in the kitchen. She’s a grandmother to four (so far) and looks forward to corrupting many more in the years to come.

Mild Mannered wife, mother and grandmother by day, Sherry Derr-Wille spends her nights writing and writing and writing. Having been inspired by an English assignment in her sophomore year of high school, she had never quite finished the assignment. New stories pop into her head every day with never enough time to write them all.

A Wisconsin native, she grew up a country girl, but enjoys her “city” home. She and her husband of over 40 years, Bob, live in a mid-sized town close to the Illinois border. Deeming Bob “A Saint” for putting up with her she has never regretted marrying her high school sweetheart just two days after graduation in 1964.

Rhonda Poh's Mystery series
Rhonda Pohs is doing what the chief of police considers a man’s job. When he sends her to notify the family of the man found floating in a small local lake, she finds herself embroiled in a murder unlike any ever seen in her small town.

The young wife of the older victim is the first targeted after his death, leaving no one in the family untouched by the horror of this murder. Even Rhonda fears for her life as she investigates this crime and finally solves the murder.

After solving her first murder mystery, Rhonda has been hired by the county sheriff's department. Assured they give all the 'shit' work to the new detectives, she's not surprised when her first case takes her to the murder of an elderly farmer who is out spreading manure. The murder weapon is his own pitch fork and most of the evidence is being lost in a blinding St. Patrick's Day blizzard.

With her new partner, Phil Mason, she's determined to solve this baffling mystery and reunite a family that has been shattered for over thirty years.

For Rhonda Halloween means going to a costume party across the street from John Richardson’s farm. As usual he’s sitting on his porch dressed like a scarecrow, complete with a pumpkin head. To Rhonda’s horror she not only witnesses a drive by shooting, but realizes it isn’t John in the custume but his grandson, Sean. Dressed as Bonnie, from Bonnie and Clyde, she goes from party mode to full fledged detective in the blink of an eye.
Was the bullet meant for the kindly old farmer or his football star grandson? Rhonda hopes she can sort through all the suspects and come up with the name of the murder to say nothing of learning the motive.

When Rhonda is called to investigate the murder of Pete Potter, she finds she has more suspects than she knows what to do with. Classmates either Love – Hate – Or Don’t Give a Damn about good old Pete.
To confuse things further Rhonda uncovers not only Pete’s secret life in Madison, but also the business practices that are anything above board, leaving disgruntled clients, family and friends.
When bodies start to pile up, Rhonda realizes she doesn’t have just a random murder on her hands. She’s dealing with a murderer with a vendetta and all the markings of a serial killer.

Double M series:

Mike Mallon is running away from his past. With his family’s history, it is expected he will go to Mexico. Instead he goes north and founds the Double M Ranch in Corbit, Montana. Once there his life is intertwined with the men and women in the valley. Especially his wife, Janet, his best friend Nevada, the half breed, Maggie, and the town’s founder, Ned Corbit.
When the past catches up with Mike, it destroys not only his family but also touches the lives of everyone else in the valley. For better or for worse, Mike’s temper ruins his relationship with many of those who have been closest to him.
Only a bazaar twist of fate can right the wrongs and bring Mike the peace he so desires.

With the new millennium on the horizon, Mike Mallon is a senator in Washington DC, while Nevada Jennings is looking forward to a life and family with Marion Howe.
In this book, Katie and Steve Kendricks lead the Double M into the twentieth century. After Katie’s death Steve is left alone to watch as their children grow to adulthood to face World War I and the consequences that tragic battle brings about.
When their son, Mallon, refuses to return to the Double M after the war, the ranch becomes the responsibility of Suzanna and her husband, Clay, along with Nevada’s son, Ralph, and his British war bride, Barbara.
Together they work to bring prosperity to the ranch and peace between the children who grow up together in the same was as Suzanna and Ralph did a generation earlier.

The Depression brings a new venture into the family of the Double M. When Suzanna buys K-Chemical, she becomes a businesswoman. The purchase is for her son, Jeff, as she desperately wants to keep in on the Double M and not lose him to the larger cities of the East in the way her mother lost Mallon.

World War II brings the loss of life to the families in and around Corbit. As the shock wears off, Suzanna, now a widow and Ralph, who has been widowed for several years, find love and happiness in each other’s arms.
As Suzanna’s life draws to a close, she looks back on the things she has accomplished. She has lived through two world wars, the great depression, Korea and Vietnam. Her ranch business interests have prospered. Now her grandson, JP, is ready to take on the challenges of running the Double M.

With the deaths of Suzanna and Ralph, JP is left to take over the Double M while Kenlyn oversees the fortunes of the family through the investment firm where she works.

The future of K-Chemical/Colliers Industries rests in the hands of David Vasser and Scott Preston. The wars of the late 20th and early 21st century take their tolls as well on the residents of Corbit and the Double M.

Laiani, a creature of the forest, has healing powers. When she uses them to help a human, a man named Gar, her 'people' banish her from the woods. Gar wishes to make her a woman in every way, further alientating her from her people, causing her to go into hiding from him.

Kathryn Meyer Griffith

About Kathryn Meyer Griffith...
Since childhood I’ve always been an artist and worked as a graphic designer in the corporate world and for newspapers for twenty-three years before I quit to write full time. But I’d already begun writing novels at 21, over forty years ago now, and have had eighteen (ten romantic horror, two romantic SF horror, one romantic suspense, one romantic time travel, one historical romance and three murder mysteries) previous novels, two novellas and twelve short stories published from Zebra Books, Leisure Books, Avalon Books, The Wild Rose Press, Damnation Books/Eternal Press and Amazon Kindle Direct.

I’ve been married to Russell for almost thirty-five years; have a son, James, and two grandchildren, Joshua and Caitlyn, and I live in a small quaint town in Illinois called Columbia, which is right across the JB Bridge from St. Louis, Mo. We have three quirky cats, ghost cat Sasha, live cats Cleo and Sasha (Too), and the five of us live happily in an old house in the heart of town. Though I’ve been an artist, and a folk singer in my youth with my brother Jim, writing has always been my greatest passion, my butterfly stage, and I’ll probably write stories until the day I die…or until my memory goes.

Four contemporary spooky short stories:
Ghost Brother
So what happens after you die? Do you go to heaven, or hell? Or do you go to a special place fashioned just for you based on the life you’d lived in the real world? Based on how you treated people? What you did to them?
And do ghosts exist? Do they roam the earth and plague the living, persuade them to do things they shouldn’t do?
Two brothers and their tale follow; their journey through life and death.
Do you believe in ghosts? Some do.

Running with the Train
Sarah has always been lonely. Searching for a love she’s begun to believe will never come. Her family and friends depend on her, need her…but they can’t give her what she wants. True, eternal love. Like the wolves have.
So she goes on an adventure of a lifetime to the Grand Canyon; rides the train from Williams to the South Rim and sees these huge wolves running alongside in the evening twilight; scurrying unbelievably below on the Canyon’s ledges among the trees. She’s told there are no wolves but she hears their haunting cries. No one else sees or hears them. Just her.
Has her loneliness made her crazy?

The Banshee and the Witch
What would you do to live forever, stay young forever? To find true love again?
And if you were a white witch with the magical powers to make it happen…and the secret of how to do it, would you?
So when the banshee comes calling for you one rainy dark night you’ll do what you have to do to get what you desire the most. More time.

Too Close to the Edge
Artist Penelope had been looking forward to going with her husband, sister and brother-in-law to see the Grand Canyon…even though she was terrified of heights and, when she got there, couldn’t bear to get too close to the edge. She watched people balancing on one foot, acting foolish, taking photos, oblivious of the death waiting below them. It scared her.
Especially when a woman relates a story of a small child that fell into the Canyon the day before. Over the edge.
Then she sees a young girl go over the rim and no one will believe her.
For there was no child that had died–that day anyway.
Was she seeing things that weren’t there, or was there another explanation?

Human No Longer, a vampire novel by Kathryn Meyer Griffith:
Jenny and Jeff Sanders become victims of a bizarre crime; leaving Jeff dead and Jenny in a temporary coma. She returns to her children. With Jeff’s death she must move back to her childhood home, a haunted farmhouse, in Summer Haven, Florida, where once they destroyed a family of vampires.
Jenny has no appetite. She’s edgy. Her eyes hurt. She thinks it could be trauma or grief. Until one night she can’t resist the night woods or the overpowering urge to drink warm animals’ blood–and accepts the truth. Her attackers were vampires.
Now she’s becoming what she once reviled. She can’t abandon her children but must find a way to live in the human world. At night she hunts, in the day hides what she’s becoming and attempts to fit in.
Then townspeople begin dying. Like years before. With her blackouts, she fears she may be the killer, or is it her vampire attackers? For they've found her and demand she joins them–or her family will die. She resists until they kidnap her children. Then she has to find a way to outwit and ultimately destroy them.

Scraps of Paper-Revised Author’s Edition by Kathryn Meyer Griffith
Abigail Sutton’s beloved husband walks out one night, doesn’t return, and two years later is found dead, a victim of a long ago crime. It’s made her sympathetic to the missing and their families.
Starting her new life, Abigail moves to small town and buys a fixer-upper house left empty when old Edna Summers died. Once it was also home to Edna’s younger sister, Emily, and her two children, Jenny and Christopher, who, people believe, drove away one night, thirty years ago, and just never came back.
But in renovating the house Abigail finds scraps of paper hidden behind baseboards and tucked beneath the porch that hint the three could have been victims of foul play.
Then she finds their graves hidden in the woods behind the house and with the help of the eccentric townspeople and ex-homicide detective, Frank Lester, she discovers the three were murdered. Then she and Frank try to uncover who killed them and why…but in the process awaken the ire of the murderer. ***

***This book is the first of a series. The second book, All Things Slip Away, where Abigail and Frank’s sleuthing adventures continue is also for sale on Amazon.

Ex-cop Henry Shore has been Chief Park Ranger at Crater Lake National Park for eight years and he likes his park and his life the way it’s been. Safe. Tranquil. Predictable. But he’s about to be tested in so many ways. First the earthquakes begin…people begin to go missing…then there’s some mysterious water creature that’s taken up residence in the caves below Crater Lake and it’s not only growing in size, it’s aggressive and cunning…and very hungry.
And it’s decided it likes human beings. To eat.
And it can come up onto land.
So Henry, with the help of his wife, Ann; a young paleontologist named Justin; and a band of brave men, must not only protect his park and his people from the monster but somehow find where it lives and destroy it…before it can kill again.

A TIME OF DEMONS by Kathryn Meyer Griffith Blurb: Since Cassandra Graystone was a child and her family perished in a fire she knows and sees things other people don’t…when someone will die or that a demon lurks beneath a human skin. She sees phantoms. Yet she craves a simple life singing out with her musician brother, Johnny, and caring for her elderly aunt and uncle; to be with her friends, Sarah, a psychic, and Walter, a clown in a carnival circuit. But when Sarah sees apocalyptic events in her tarot cards and demons are everywhere, Cassandra fears she’s going insane or something terrifying is happening in the world.
Rayner, an ancient blood demon, lodges next door. He becomes obsessed with her. Never having felt pity or affection for a human before he believes he loves her, would die to protect her. The demon realm gathers for the final confrontation between us, Rayner warns. The apocalypse comes. You and your friends must prepare.
Cassandra flees that knowledge until an angelic being, Manasseh, appears. Your powers will grow. You must fight for humanity’s survival after the first wave is taken. Seek out others like you. Persuade them to join the battle. Only these can see and challenge the demons until the end when all eyes see them. She doesn’t want her life to change; doesn’t want to be a nomad who battles demons. Doesn’t want to be anyone’s protector.  Until a tornado flattens Sarah’s house. Johnny’s apartment. There are monsters maiming and killing everywhere. Demons persecute her and those she loves, burn down her home and force her family and friends onto the road, as everywhere cataclysmic weather and signs of the end days make things hellish for humans. Cassandra and her friends can no longer deny their destinies. They must fight…or see the remnants of humanity engulfed in flames.
